Other: Completed in two days (that's fast) for a young woman headed to Australia. So this is my first painting to leave the continent! It was a joy to paint. I let loose with the background following my intuition on how to handle the theme.  ::thrive! O

Media: Acrylic on canvas. 15H x 30W Not For Sale but prints are available. Other: One of my personal favourites. Painted while on a little holiday at my mom's in 'Toby's' room. Toby was mom's dog and 'his' room doubled as the room I slept in when visiting an on this occasion as my studio. The image is based on a snap shot of my son taken while we were playing in grandma's front yard earlier in that year. Someone once told me, "Your portraits aren't exactly normal." I believe I answered, "Thank you." ::thrive! O
